    Job Title: Distribution Designer

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Distribution Designers in Houston, Texas, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data collection and a solid understanding of Microstation or CAD. This role requires individuals who are skilled in designing and planning efficient and safe power delivery systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and Planning: Determine the most efficient and safe way to deliver power, including calculating wire sizes, transformer needs, and pole placement.

    + Surveying and Mapping: Conduct field surveys, collect data, and create staking sheets to guide construction.

    + Coordination: Collaborate with construction crews, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation.

    + 2+ years of utility data collection experience.

    + 1+ year of understanding AutoCAD/Microstation schematics.

    + 1+ year of utility locating experience.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits required.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
