    Job Title: Industrial Electrician

    Job Description

    As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit, as well as pulling wiring through conduit. You will terminate wiring and panels, install transformers, automatic transfer switches, and switchgear. You will use hand and power tools to assemble equipment according to product specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

    + Interpret and utilize fabrication drawings, blueprints, and wiring schematics.

    + Perform conduit bending and wire pulling.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

    + Ensure safe and effective installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of five (5) years of electrical experience.

    + Licensed Journeyman Electrician.

    + Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and methods.

    + Familiarity with materials, tools, equipment, and systems used in the electrical trade.

    + Ability to work under direct supervision and follow instructions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Current and valid United States driver's license.

    + Reliable transportation.

    + Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an industrial and construction setting, utilizing various hand and power tools. Follow a dress code appropriate for a construction environment. The work schedule is a 4/10 shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no travel required.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
