Each year, CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) helps more than 300,000 customers with their vehicle financing. Sr. Clerks play a key role in achieving that objective by supporting our customers and fellow associates by providing a variety of administrative support activities.

What you’ll do

+ Complete miscellaneous work requests to support various business areas across CAF. This includes preparing and processing customer correspondence, data entry and account notation in company account management systems.

+ Work with team members, other departments, store locations, and external vendors to resolve customer questions/concerns.

+ Filing documents in appropriate locations, receive, sort, review, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail/packages, and maintaining office supplies; the role may include validating document accuracy, identify errors and document scanning.

+ Teach new associates an overview of the work, processes, and tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.

+ Ability to work high volume and fast paced processes.

+ Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

+ High school diploma or GED (required)

+ May require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.

+ Basic computer, math, and communication skills required

+ Data entry and/or keyboarding skills required
