    Position Summary:

    The Partner Development Manager will collaborate in a joint sales motion with our Technology Executives to drive increased penetration of HP Print products & solutions into existing customers and new prospects. The Partner Development Manager is responsible for achieving revenue and gross profit goals for HP Print. This position will operate in a dynamic environment, adjusting to market & industry conditions as needed.

    What you’ll be doing:

    + HP Print product category including commercial devices, extended service plans and accessories

    + Support day-to-day pipeline management, prioritization, and increasing our HP Print win rate

    + Promote and educate Staples’ sales teams on products, services, sales, and marketing initiatives, and sales programs

    + Qualify, prepare, and present complex hardware, software, and services solutions to Staples’ sales teams

    + Support team with pricing (Deal regs), configurations, availability, lead qualification, and support driving field alignment with HP Print Reps

    + Work with Category as needed to secure customer seed units through demo programs

    + Collaborate and partner with merchants and PDMs to deliver vendor and internal campaigns that will have measurable results in driving profitable sales

    + Deliver program updates and changes to partners and support team as needed

    + Attend HP Print team calls, specific commercial product manager calls, and trainings

    + Assist sellers with triaging aged open orders

    + Manage Partner Portal activities

    + Support the creation of sales collateral as needed through direct efforts and/or partner driven efforts

    Event Coordination, Training and Certification:

    + Provide project management support for HP Print sales activation, marketing, and incentive programs

    + Develop and maintain expertise on HP Print product portfolio, programs, competition, and the industry trends

    + Attend trainings to ensure complete knowledge of all HP Print Hardware products and programs

    What you bring to the table** **:

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

    + Resourceful and able to work independently

    + Ability to develop winning proposals, collect and analyze data, and provide operational and informational support

    **Basic Qualifications** :

    + 2+ years’ with direct sales experience (technology sales preferred)

    + Ability to develop winning proposals, collect and analyze data, and provide operational and informational support

    + Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM tools

    + Resourceful and able to work independently

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, Forms, Etc)

    + Ability to operate in legacy ERP systems (MicroStrategy, Sunrise/Sequoia, menu-based systems)

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

    What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

    + Direct Account management experience selling PC technology to corporate, commercial, and enterprise customers

    + Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM tools

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, Forms, Etc)

    + Ability to operate in legacy ERP systems (MicroStrategy, Sunrise/Sequoia, menu-based systems)
