YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Product Supply Finance BP North America ANZ are to:
+ Accountable for an integrated steering of COGS, COGM, operational expenses, overheads, working capital, investments, personnel, continuous improvement savings, forecast accuracy, Warehouse & Distribution costs and other main KPIs relevant for the NA ANZ Product Supply performance together with the regional PS Leadership Team for Crop Protection and Row Crops.;Ensure financial governance and compliance on all Product Supply Finance topics in the region;
+ Serve as a strategic advisor and financial co-pilot to the NA ANZ Product Supply leadership team;
+ Drive financial transparency and enable data-driven decision-making.
+ Translate complex financial insights into actionable recommendations to deliver on the business outcomes / ambitions;
+ Leads and Inspires a High-Performing Team: Leads a team of 15 finance business partners to steer financial KPI’s for the North America Product Supply business, managing over €3 billion in Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) along with manufacturing overheads, supply chain management costs, working capital, investments, and headcount to achieve both near-term and long-term business objectives;
+ Strategic Problem Solver: Develops actionable plans and strategic recommendations to proactively address and mitigate financial challenges, ensuring the organization remains agile in a competitive landscape;
+ Navigates Ambiguity with Vision: Steers the team through ambiguity by providing clear direction and focus, while actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance strategy, streamline processes, and optimize organizational structure;
+ Financial Leadership and Oversight: Provides robust leadership and oversight to ensure the business remains aligned with its financial frame, driving accountability and performance across all financial metrics;
+ Collaborative Strategic Partnerships: Works closely with North America CS Product Supply and Commercial leadership teams to develop and implement strategic and operational plans that guarantee financial performance meets or exceeds established targets;
+ Data-Driven Decision Maker: Provides comprehensive analysis and interpretation of financial KPIs, empowering key stakeholders to make informed, timely decisions;
+ Global Standards Alignment: Collaborates with Global Controlling and Performance Management to establish and uphold standards for financial processes while ensuring high-quality execution and compliance;
+ Insightful Strategic Analysis: Delivers strategic analysis and insights that support innovative business ideas, transformational initiatives, optimization efforts, and successful future product launches. Utilizes advanced modeling techniques to validate business case assumptions, cost drivers, and strategies for profitability maximization;
+ E2E Supply Chain Support: Provides upport for various product supply teams, including MEX, Field, Customer Service, Warehouse/Distribution, business enablement, etc..
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or business-related field;
+ Advanced Financial Acumen including Profitability and Cash; reporting, target / frame setting, risk management and accounting standards knowledge;
+ Excellent critical thinking and influencing abilities;
+ Effective change leader and motivator;
+ Skilled at building networks and navigating complex organizations;
+ Strategic thinker with business insight, courage, and a collaborative approach;
+ Experienced in leading broad skilled teams, developing talent and inspiring diverse, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 12+ years of progressive finance experience with emphasis in Controlling, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Mgmt;
+ Masters and / or CPA.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $166,039 to $249,058. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
