    Department/Unit Summary

    Monday- Friday

     

    No holidays or weekends

     

    Monitor patients during interventional procedures; pre and post procedures, vital signs and patient education.

     

    Interview and schedule patients for interventional studies

    Help with inpatients in department such as IV's and change in status of patient

    Sovah Danville Imaging Center has provided outpatient imaging services since 1991. Services include Mammography, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Interventional Procedures. Our imaging services are accredited through the American College of Radiology (ACR), to assure patients and providers that we meet high quality imaging and staffing standards, set forth by the ACR. We work under the guidance of localBoard CertifiedRadiologists, to providepatientsa morepositivecomfortableexperience,than other facilities can provide.

    Qualifications and requirements

    Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license andpossessa nursing degree from an accredited nursing school

     

    (Bachelor’sdegree preferred).

    Additionalrequirements include:

    * American Heart Association Basic Life Support

    * Experience in clinical area preferred
