    Basic Job Functions:

    The role of the Maintenance Millwright is primarily two-fold. First, to be a great Nucor team member who demonstrates high levels of honesty, integrity, and ownership in everything they do. Second, is to ensure the success of the team by SAFELY performing Preventative and Corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems, as well as proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business.     Minimum Qualifications:

    Mechanical Skills and Fundamental Knowledge Experience Troubleshooting Mechanical Systems 2+ years experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance and 1+ years experience in steel mill or related metals industry overhead crane maintenance Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Nucor Steel Brandenburg will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Rolling Mill and/or Melt Shop mechanical maintenance • 2-year or 4-year degree in mechanical or related field
