Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a long-term contract opportunity with consistent working hours. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes, payroll journal entries, and bank reconciliations, coupled with proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately handle high-volume accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely processing.

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Post and reconcile payroll journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Organize and maintain comprehensive accounts payable documentation.

• Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities.

• Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and managing reconciliations.

• Work with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online for data entry, reporting, and account management.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address invoice and payment issues promptly. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable roles.

• Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and general accounting principles.

• Demonstrated experience with payroll journal entries.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including creating Pivot Tables and data analysis.

• Skilled in using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
