Job Title: AP Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our finance department, focusing on vendor invoice entry, managing the AP mailbox, coordinating with vendors, preparing payment runs, and initiating automation processes. The position offers growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

+ Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, accounting for 30% of the role.

+ Manage the AP mailbox and coordinate with vendors, comprising another 30% of responsibilities.

+ Prepare payment runs and batches, representing 30% of job duties.

+ Start the AP automation process utilizing AI software for invoice processing, accounting for 10% of the position.

+ Perform corrections as directed by the CFO.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in accounts payable operations.

+ Experience with 3-way match, invoice processing, and purchase orders.

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

+ Ability to process payments and manage invoices effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with ERP systems is preferred, but quick learners who are tech-savvy are welcome.

Work Environment

Join a team of six professionals, including AR, A/P Manager, and CFO, in a dynamic department. The position is based onsite in Hackensack and offers flexible work hours, Monday through Friday, with options to start between 7 AM and 9 AM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
