    Job Description:

    The Head of FCRM Investigations, Program Risk is responsible for maintaining the sustainability of the Investigations Program through management of program risks including defining and managing the governance model, providing support for Investigations regulatory exams and audits, monitoring, and assessing the effectiveness of controls and measuring the overall health of the program through defined metrics. This role directly manages a team of dedicated to Investigations program risk and governance including managing the Investigative Standards and Procedures, running the Investigations Governance Subcommittee, Investigations Metrics and Risk Assessment.

    Depth & Scope:

    + Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required

    + Defines and manages the governance model for Investigations and ensures alignment with overarching FCRM strategy

    + Keeps abreast of regulatory trends in order to proactively identify issues and recommends solutions

    + Oversees Investigations governance forum/committee

    + Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of Investigative controls, facilitate quality assurance processes and provide credible challenge

    + Acts as a trusted partner while collaborating with and advising senior leadership and key stakeholders on matters influencing investigative strategies and outcomes

    + Provides support for Investigations regulatory and internal exams and audits including issue remediation

    + Measures overall health of the program through preparing regular reports and metrics

    + Directly manages a team dedicated to Investigations program risk and governance

    + Presents to the regulators on monthly OGS meetings

    Education & Experience:

    + Bachelor's or Master's degree

    + 10+ years' experience

    + Financial crimes compliance experience in the financial services industry

    + Experience in industry with respect to processes/controls to evaluate Financial Crimes risk

    + Experience in managing / leading high performing staff

    + Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to maintain attention to detail

    + Strong analytical & critical reasoning skills
