    Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical individual to join our team, focusing on revenue assurance for our mobility services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication capabilities, a strong technical background, a deep understanding of data integrity, and the ability to drive operational efficiency through data-driven insights.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Exceptional SQL Proficiency for Revenue Assurance & Data Integrity:

    + Demonstrated expertise in writing and testing complex SQL scripts for data analysis, solution development, and system updates. This includes the ability to develop and test SQL processes for new product/service offerings and patch updates to revenue recognition software.

    + Proven capability in diagnosing, debugging, and analyzing production issues through advanced root-cause and exploratory data analysis. This involves performing daily, monthly, and quarterly data and revenue integrity validation and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    + Strong track record in maintaining and enhancing data integrity and quality controls. This includes querying, augmenting, and validating large-scale datasets to ensure accuracy of key metrics and analytical outputs.

    + Familiarity with various database environments like Snowflake and Google BigQuery.

    + Expertise in Data Process Automation & Management:

    + Extensive experience with the intelligent automation of data processes, ETL development, and workflow automation. This includes designing and maintaining robust data pipelines that significantly increase operational efficiency and provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators.

    + Proven ability to design and manage a scalable data foundation, optimizing data sources and ETL processes to improve quality controls and data standards.

    + Experience handling large volumes of data, such as conducting analyses across 100K+ records and working with large-scale datasets.

    + Analytical Insight & Cross-Functional Collaboration for Financial Data (Revenue Recognition Context):

    + Exceptional capacity for data storytelling and communication, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. This includes the ability to communicate complex accounting concepts as they relate to underlying data.

    + Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration to define and implement data requirements, oversee data migration, and partner with business and IT teams to solve complex challenges. This is essential for understanding and optimizing upstream processes that feed into revenue recognition systems.

    + While direct experience with Zuora revenue recognition software or the ASC 606 accounting standard is not explicitly required; they are preferred.

    + Adaptability to New Product/Service Offerings & Industry Context:

    + Experience in assisting with new product/service offerings and initiatives, leveraging data to guide strategic decisions and accelerate key initiatives.

    + A high degree of adaptability and the capacity to quickly learn and apply data skills to specialized financial software and accounting principles.

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics or Economics. Preference for Master's Degree

    + Inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn complex and ever-evolving businesses

    Skills and Qualifications

    + Strong background in SQL including big data analytics and validation

    + Advanced Excel skills

    + Self-motivated, able to problem solve creatively and meet expanding business needs as circumstances require

     

    Salary Ranges

     

    Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.

     

    Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
