    Salary: $1392 / Week

     

    An Optometrist (Eye Doctor) is responsible for providingcomprehensive vision care to patients so they can care for their eyes andaccess appropriate tools to support their eyesight and eye health. Their dutiesinclude conducting eye examinations, identifying signs of disease or injury andprescribing corrective eye glass lenses and/or contacts.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Doctorate in Optometry

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience directly related to theduties and responsibilities specified preferred

    + Certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry(NBEO) and licensed by the State in which they are practicing

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
