Lab Assistant – R&D Operations

Pay: 19.46

The Lab Assistant supports R&D by maintaining clean, functional lab spaces and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. This role handles routine lab upkeep, supply management, equipment checks, and supports research operations.

Education:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Science degree preferred.

Experience:

+ 1–2 years lab experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

+ GMP/GLP knowledge, aseptic technique, cleanroom experience.

+ Attention to detail; MS Office, Teams, Outlook proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform safety checks (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, incubators).

+ Maintain cleanliness and stock in labs and common areas.

+ Handle lab waste disposal and sterilization.

+ Receive, record, and store shipments.

+ Prepare media and calibrate pH meters.

+ Manage lab coat and safety glass inventory.

+ Maintain compliance records and assist with audits/training.

+ Participate in safety and cleaning teams.
