    Job Description

    Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking an MS Exchange Engineer with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

     

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled MS Exchange Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support for Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, managing related service tickets, and maintaining the overall health of email systems. You will work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless messaging operations and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide technical support for Microsoft Exchange and Outlook issues in desktop environments.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve user tickets related to email configuration, connectivity, and performance.

    + Assist users with email account setup, migrations, and synchronization across devices.

    + Diagnose and resolve issues related to email delivery, spam filtering, and mailbox management.

    + Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the seamless operation and integration of Exchange services.

    + Monitor the health and performance of Exchange servers and conduct routine maintenance.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Exchange and Outlook support procedures.

    + Conduct regular system checks to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.

    + Stay informed on the latest Microsoft Exchange and Outlook updates, features, and best practices.

    + Manage support tickets in ServiceNow and ensure timely resolution in accordance with SLAs.

    Requirements:

    + Proven experience troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange and Outlook issues.

    + Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments and email client configurations.

    + Familiarity with Exchange server management, maintenance, and optimization.

    + Solid problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist non-technical users.

    + Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server or Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator are a plus.

    + Understanding of IT service management processes; ITIL certification preferred.

    + Experience managing Microsoft 365 (O365) environments is an added advantage.

     

    The base hourly range for this contract position is $30-$60 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
