    Full-Time | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm | Pay Rate: $17.55 hourly

    **Job Purpose or Objective(s):** As the Groundskeeper 2, you will perform a variety of tasks which includes any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, applying fertilizer, digging, raking, sprinkler installation. You will report to the Landscape Supervisor.

    Primary Tasks:

    1. You will operate different lawn equipment such as mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and edgers

    2. Maintaining lawns and landscaping by mowing, mulching, aerating, weeding, trimming, edging, and planting.

    3. Using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and hedge trimmers safely.

    4. Tree, shrub, and hedge care using shears, pruners, or chain saws.

    5. Planting flowering plants, bulbs, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs.

    6. Irrigation system monitoring, adjusting, and operating.

    7. Ensuring that work areas are clean and organized.

    8. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    * Valid State Issued Driver's License.

    * Learn different technical/mechanical requirements of the job, such as operation of lawn equipment including lawnmowers, string trimmers, hedgers and other tools.

    * Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks.

    * Understand government public health regulations.

    * Understand safety standards related to performance of the job.

    * 5 Years lawn and landscape maintenance experience to include knowledge of pruning, planting, irrigating, and general upkeep of grounds.

    * Experience in lawn equipment maintenance and repairs
