    Description

The Astor Learning Center (ALC) is hiring One to One Aides to join our supportive and collaborative team. The ALC is a therapeutic special education school for children facing educational, emotional, and behavioral challenges serving children in small class sizes with a maximum number of 80 children. This paraprofessional is assigned to assist with learning social skills, transition between activities or locations, staying on task, completing daily academic tasks, or redirecting challenging behaviors. The 1:1 aide supports the daily behavior and academic needs of assigned students as indicated by their Individual Education Plan. They will work closely with the classroom teacher to implement the student’s daily program.

    Requirements

    High School Diploma. Experience preferred.

    Salary Description

    $15.50-$15.50/hr
