    The Opportunity:

    + We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Quality Systems Engineer to support our work with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Heavy Lift Helicopter Program Office (PMA-261).

    + This role will focus on systems engineering, airworthiness, and CYBERSAFE policy and process support for critical naval weapons systems throughout their full lifecycle.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide systems engineering expertise to enhance processes and meet the needs of emerging and existing programs.

    + Support the development and implementation of Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies.

    + Assist in the evaluation and analysis of Permanent Flight Clearances (PFCs) and Interim Flight Clearances (IFCs).

    + Contribute to the Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP) program.

    + Support integration, test and evaluation (T&E), and verification and validation (V&V) activities.

    + Develop and maintain training materials related to systems engineering processes.

    + Analyze and provide recommendations for sustainment engineering and obsolescence issues.

    + Support technology improvements and updates for legacy aircraft systems

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + U.S. Citizenship required.

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field).

    + A current and active secret clearance is required. The program will upgrade to a Top Secret/SCI.

    + 7+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace/defense industry.

    + Familiarity with NAVAIR systems engineering processes and DoD acquisition lifecycle.

    + Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools and methodologies.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.

    _Desired:_

    + Master's degree in Engineering or related field.

    + Experience with naval aviation systems and airworthiness processes.

    + Familiarity with CYBERSAFE policies and procedures.

    + Knowledge of NATOPS and flight clearance processes.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $108,400 - 227,500 USD
