    Required Skills:

    Software Engineer, Systems Responsibilities:

    1. Research, design, develop, build and test privacy preserving algorithms serving Meta Ads business.

    2. Apply expertise in privacy-related algorithms to create new features and enhance existing products.

    3. Be familiar and stay up-to-date with changes in industry privacy regulations and write algorithms that conform to the latest standards for different users or regions.

    4. Work on problems of moderate to large scope and lead collaborative efforts with other team members.

    5. Conduct comprehensive and deep data analysis to identify system gaps or anomalies Lead data-driven, cross-team, systematic investigation to root cause any problem and propose solutions.

    6. Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.

    7. Actively seek and give feedback in alignment with company Performance Philosophy.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    8. Requires a Bachelor’s degree(or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:

    9. 1. Coding in one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Javascript

    10. 2. Python, PHP, or Haskell

    11. 3. Relational databases and SQL

    12. 4. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)

    13. 5. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands

    14. 6. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

    15. 7. Building highly-scalable performant solutions

    16. 8. Distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability

    17. 9. Algorithms.

    Public Compensation:

    $207,184/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
