    Job Summary

    The Food Server is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of all meals to clients and staff within the organization.

     

    Job Duties/ Essential Functions

     

    + Transport and distribute meals throughout food service locations.

    + Load, transport, and unload food service equipment to and from service locations

    + Follow daily cycle menu and production worksheets to include snacks and special diets. Record daily food preparation and usage / report special diet meal changes at point of service.

    + Assure overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas.

    + Prepare cold food according to established procedures and/or recipes.

    + Assist in special events as necessary.

    + All other duties as assigned by management.

     

    Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

     

    + HS Diploma or GED required OR 5 years of relatable life and/or work experience to be verified by references and/or employment verification.

    + Prior food service experience preferred.

    + Able to work with children.

    + Valid driver's license required if primary work location is within Lehigh or Northampton counties. (Driver's License not required, specifically, in the Bethlehem, PA programs)

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.
