    Description

    SUMMARY

    Performs routine and extensive preventive maintenance and repair procedures on leased and owned buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.

    Qualifications

    Certifications, License, and Education

     

    + HVAC certification preferred

    + Special Electrical License preferred

    + High School Diploma or Equivalency required.

     

    Other Needed Skills

     

    + Minimum of one to two years’ experience working within trades associated with construction, maintenance and repair of facilities.

    + Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

    + Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees.

    + Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and skilled maintenance i.e. plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering/sheet rocking, machine servicing, heating and ventilations, electrical or mechanical.
