Our client, a leader in precision metal fabrication, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Brake Press Operator

**Location:** San Jose, CA

**Pay Range:** $25-$31 per hour

Shift:

+ 1st shift: Mon- Fri 5:30 am- 1:40pm

+ Swing Shift: Mon- Thru 1pm- 11:50 pm Friday 1pm- 1:50am

+ Weekend Shift (Friday: 1:00 PM – 1:50 AM, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:40 PM, Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

What's the Job?

+ Perform basic machine setup and forming operations on hydraulic and electric press brakes.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, making precise angle and depth adjustments for various materials.

+ Assist in maintaining quality and workflow while supporting higher-level operators.

+ Collaborate with team members and assist with material handling and large parts.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a precision sheet metal environment.

+ At least 6 months of experience as a Brake Press Operator (Bystronic or Amada)

+ Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.

+ Competent with measurement tools such as calipers and protractors.

+ Basic arithmetic skills and familiarity with computer/calculator usage.
