    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a REMOTE Medical Claims Specialist to join as a contractor on a healthcare partner's project. This project-based Medical Claims Specialistwill be responsible for managing a large backlog of claims.     Responsibilities:

    + Reviewing claims that have been denied to appealed.

    + Researching and auditing claims and making corrections.

    + Resubmitting, reprocessing, or otherwise following up on denials and appeals.

    Requirements

    + High school diploma/GED

    + 2+ years of experience in medical billing and claims

    + 1+ years of experience in denials and appeals

    + Excellent attention to detail
