Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in south Denver. This role offers an opportunity to lead key financial processes and ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong leadership skills, and excels at managing deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, addressing inquiries and providing necessary documentation.

• Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper recording of transactions.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures to enhance productivity.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives.

• Monitor compliance with regulatory and company standards in all accounting practices.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Familiarity with financial statement audits and related documentation requirements.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective leadership abilities, including team management and mentoring.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting software and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
