Description

We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a thriving real estate company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing end-to-end daily accounting processes. You will oversee key financial tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations, while utilizing QuickBooks and Excel to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.

• Process payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track all accounting data effectively.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management review.

• Collaborate with the Controller to support financial planning and analysis activities.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows to enhance productivity.

This is a newly created role due to growth and our client is looking to interivew quickly. In office daily with a fast-paced team. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping, with a strong track record in similar roles.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

• Advanced skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting and reporting purposes.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Knowledge of general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
