Description We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in New Haven, Connecticut. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain network solutions that meet the needs of healthcare clients. As part of the team, you will contribute to system security, disaster recovery, and server support while ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy system solutions tailored to client requirements using advanced networking technologies.

• Implement and maintain disaster recovery systems to safeguard critical data and operations.

• Provide technical services at the network level, including configuring routers, firewalls, and ensuring system security.

• Set up and support remote access solutions such as VPNs and Remote Desktop Services.

• Manage and troubleshoot server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy configurations.

• Prepare detailed system documentation and deliver consulting services, including system reviews and improvement recommendations.

• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing timely updates on progress, changes, or planned outages. Requirements • Proficiency in working with Cisco products, including routers and Unity solutions.

• Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, and security protocols.

• Experience with disaster recovery systems and remote access technologies.

• Solid understanding of server management, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

• Ability to create system documentation and offer consultative recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
