Description
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the payroll process for a nonprofit organization. This is a Contract position based in Princeton, New Jersey and will be fully onsite. The ideal candidate will have experience handling multi-state payroll for over 500 employees and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processes for employees across multiple states.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Handle payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees, maintaining high levels of precision and confidentiality.
• Utilize and manage payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Paycom to process payroll efficiently.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration and reporting.
• Conduct audits to verify payroll data integrity and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in payroll-related laws and regulations.
Requirements • Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes, including multi-state payroll.
• Expertise in handling payroll for organizations with 500 or more employees.
• Proficiency in using payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Paycom.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies quickly and effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee data.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex payroll operations.
