    Description

    We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is essential in supporting various human resources functions, including payroll, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. As a Contract-to-permanent position, this opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic workplace while advancing your career in the HR field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Address employee relations matters by providing guidance and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws while maintaining and updating HR policies and the employee handbook.

    • Administer employee benefit programs such as health, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave policies, and coordinate with benefit providers during enrollment periods.

    • Support performance management initiatives by assisting managers with performance reviews and development plans for employees.

    • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making.

    • Monitor HR metrics to analyze trends and provide insights that align with organizational goals.

    • Handle payroll-related functions, including unemployment claims and payroll tax processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

     

    • At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist; experience in the real estate or a similar industry is advantageous.

    • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

    • Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze HR metrics effectively. TalentMatch®
