As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial** in **Miami, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and tenants. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to situations as they arise and supporting the overall security-related operations of the site. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and/or concerns as they arise.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ **Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.**

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ **A valid driver’s license in the job state is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
