    Job Description:

    At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Content Curator (Farsi), you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Website Content Curator joining our team to screens and edits content for a platform within an internet-based program in Tampa, Florida.

    HOW A CONTENT CURATOR (FARSI) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    + Requires native-level fluency in Farsi and excellent English.

    + Knowledge of the region and regional issues is required.

    + Must be proficient in the nuances of required languages including grammar and journalism editing standards.

    + Researches local and regional media to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations, providing translations, assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, and technical tasks associated with internet-based publications.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    + **Education** : Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

    + **Experience:** 5+ years' experience required Journalism experience, including experience writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications is highly preferred.

    + **Security clearance level:** Active DoD Secret clearance required (minimum); accepted candidates will be submitted for TS/SCI.

    + **Skills and abilities** : Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required. Select candidates will be language tested.

    + **Location** : Customer Site

    The likely salary range for this position is $82,450 - $111,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
