Olsten Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Outbound Shipping Specialist to join our client's dynamic team at a leading distribution center located in Mullins, SC. This is your opportunity to play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe shipment of products to valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping Coordination

+ Manage and coordinate outbound Truckload (TL) & Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments

+ Assign shipping lanes and dock locations

+ Schedule carrier pickups and confirm freight readiness

+ Ensure proper labeling, pallet configurations, and loading per SOPs

Documentation & System Use

+ Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and update shipment info in Sage ERP and WMS

+ Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance

+ Distribute shipping and receiving paperwork as needed

Team Oversight & Workflow

+ Oversee Quality Control and Material Handling staff in outbound lanes

+ Support labor planning and workflow efficiency

+ Monitor compliance with SOPs, safety, and accuracy standards

Communication

+ Coordinate with internal teams (Customer Service, Inventory, Operations)

+ Provide shipment updates and tracking to account service teams

+ Resolve delays or logistics issues proactively

Safety & Compliance

+ Enforce warehouse safety protocols and dock safety procedures

+ Ensure outbound operations follow OSHA and company guidelines

Performance Monitoring

+ Track and report on shipping KPIs and order accuracy

+ Recommend improvements to streamline shipping processes

Requirements:

+ **Experience:** 2-3 years in shipping/logistics; TL/LTL freight knowledge required

+ **Tech Skills:** Proficient in ERP, WMS, Gmail, Excel, and shipping software

+ **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent (logistics coursework preferred)

+ **Other Skills:** Excellent organization, multitasking, and communication abilities

+ **Leadership:** Team lead or supervisory experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods

+ Comfortable in warehouse conditions (noise, temperature fluctuations, powered equipment)

Travel:

Minimal travel (less than 1%) may be required for training or inter-site support

**Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour
