_Mobile Clinic Driver - Maryview Medical Center_

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Driver is responsible for driving the Mobile Health Unit to and from places where our patients live and work. Once on-site, the Driver collects information and registers patients for their appointments. Responsibilities include learning established routes/schedules and maintaining positive client relations. This position will require you to float to multiple locations.

Licensing/Certification

Valid State Driver’s License and CDL Class A or B (required)

Education

High School Degree or GED

Work Experience

Previous experience with truck or bus (required)

Patient care experience (preferred)

Essential Job Functions

+ Operates hospital vehicle to transport Mobile Health, equipment to various sites in a safe manner

+ Completes daily checklist to ensure van and equipment are in working order and reports any malfunction of the vehicle to management

+ Gases vehicle on specified days of the week and maintains cleanliness of van and stocks supplies when necessary

+ Meets and greets customers by obtaining and verify the patient’s demographic information and ensures the completion of forms
