Job Description:
+ Data Processing
+ Auditing and verification of orders coming in and going out of facility
+ Inventory verification and documentation
+ Verifying, logging, and documenting BOL's
+ Verifying forklift documents
+ Assisting with documentation of work procedures and training documents
+ Verifying receipts/ shipments of items on requisition or invoices
+ Maintains logs and files documents
+ Resolves discrepancies with procurement
+ Inputting of data into Excel documents and/or ERP system (PLEX)
+ Occasional to frequent interaction with drivers and warehouse employees
+ Utilize shipment plans provided by the customer service department or the warehouse supervisor to create shipping documentation in accordance with 49 CFR regulatory requirements and Kanto shipping procedures.
+ Contact carriers via phone, email, or web portal to schedule material pickups that meet due dates provided by the customer service team or warehouse supervisor.
+ Validate outbound shipments to ensure the physical products loading on trucks match the documentation created and function as a point of contact for drivers picking up and delivering material.
+ Track materials and perform ERP transactions to move shipped materials to in-transit status and receive them into their appropriate stocking location upon arrival.
+ Update freight cost logs with logistics information for cost tracking purposes.
+ Review logistics invoicing, transfer data to logs, and ensure invoicing matches contract rating. Communicate with carriers to make invoice corrections if needed.
+ Assist receiving personnel with non-conforming container arrivals by taking pictures and recording data to be added to the inbound container non-conformity log.
+ Support the permanent serialization process by reviewing ERP reports and making system adjustments to maintain accuracy of our empty container inventory.
Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-3 years supply chain experience, preferably in a shipping/receiving environment
+ Excellent PC skills with strong proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
+ Experience and confidence with ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle / Plex
+ Mathematical Understanding for cost and unit calculations
+ Strong computer skills required (all MS Office systems)
+ Experience in shipping & receiving preferred
+ Experience with BOL's preferred
+ DOT documents/regulations knowledge preferred
+ Chemicals experience a plus
+ ERP experience a plus
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
