    HR Administrative Assistant

    Job Description

    This role involves performing a variety of HR, accounting, administrative, and clerical functions to support the HR/Accounting department.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, ensuring their integrity and confidentiality.

    + Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

    + Provide clerical support to the HR/Accounting department.

    + Assist with new hire onboarding and open enrollment, including uploading employee selections.

    + Handle scheduling for yearly health & safety training for employees.

    + Assist with year-end reporting, including EEO and OSHA reporting.

    + Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews and maintaining the applicant tracking system.

    + Review monthly benefits invoices.

    + Maintain I-9 files.

    + Participate in the monthly financial statement close process.

    + Manage AP/AR, W9/1099 processing for vendors, vendor invoice processing/entry, and payment processing/entry.

    + Convert data from ERP to payroll system for processing.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.

    + Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    + Ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS) and similar applications.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree required.

    + 2+ years of experience assisting with new hire onboarding.

    + 2+ years of experience providing clerical support.

    + 2+ years of experience reviewing invoices.

    + 2+ years of experience collecting and filing documents appropriately.

    Work Environment

    The position requires working on-site five days a week in New Britain, PA. The environment offers a family-friendly feel and an opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience. The role provides great benefits once converted and the chance to grow within the HR team, consisting of just one manager.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
