Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a clean, air-conditioned manufacturing facility. The role involves performing maintenance tasks on building and production equipment while adhering to safety standards and company regulations. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the expansion of our growing company.
Responsibilities
+ Safely perform functions of the position by following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag-out procedures.
+ Operate, maintain, and repair all facility and production-associated equipment in compliance with company regulations and standards.
+ Analyze equipment failures and maintain all building and production services and related equipment in good repair.
+ Perform planned maintenance on building equipment and related services while being responsive to customer needs.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement planned maintenance procedures.
+ Maintain a spare parts inventory and keep stock persons informed about parts consumed from inventory.
+ Assist in installing, inspecting new equipment, and servicing installations.
+ Provide support to co-workers, contractors, vendors, and building managers to support project and renovation work.
+ Comply with all governmental, company, and industrial regulations, codes, standards, and health safety practices.
+ Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Respond and provide service and feedback on all work orders while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
+ Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
+ Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments to provide energy efficiency solutions.
+ Use a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers, and diagnostic hardware to perform work.
+ Maintain a strict schedule to ensure successful assignment completion while demonstrating flexibility in day-to-day activities.
+ Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Essential Skills
+ One year of maintenance experience in HVAC, semiconductor, electrical, plumbing, or water treatment.
+ High school diploma.
+ Previous maintenance experience, schooling, or applicable experience from personal activities.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and coachable attitude.
+ Blueprint and schematic reading.
+ Basic understanding of low voltage electrical work.
+ Ability to train on and safely operate machinery like forklifts and equipment moving rigs.
+ Ability to work overtime when requested.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Facilities maintenance experience.
+ Plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
+ Preventive maintenance knowledge.
+ Experience with drywall, electrical installation, and carpentry.
+ Cleanroom experience.
+ Ability to operate power tools.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, air-conditioned manufacturing facility with varying cleanroom levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required throughout the production floor. The facility is new, meaning most work involves preventive maintenance and upkeep.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.
**Shift:** Sun - W - 7am - 6pm + 1 hour lunch
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
