Mechanical Assembler

2nd Shift | $18+ | Bolingbrook, IL

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Assembler to join our growing team. You will be responsible for assembling large mechanical parts, ensuring precision and durability. Using hand and power tools, you will work with components crafted by welders and machinists, following blueprints to guarantee accuracy. This hands-on role requires physical strength, including lifting up to 50 lbs, with equipment available for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble large mechanical parts using hand and power tools.

+ Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate and high-quality assembly.

+ Collaborate with welders and machinists to fit and finalize components.

+ Perform physical tasks, including safely lifting up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 year of large mechanical assembly experience.

+ Familiarity with hand and power tools.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in welding, fabrication, or machining is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
