    Performs specialized work in conducting original research. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. May supervise research and student assistants.

Essential functions are coordinating and summarizing interviews with persons related to technology in developed with TTU. Interviews should be summarized and used to inform updates to business model canvas and presentation documents.

    Occasional Duties:

    Hired applicant will work on research and development of a pharmaceutical compliance technology. The applicant will carry out work for customer discovery by coordinating interviews with relevant parties, conducting interviews, analyzing findings, and aggregating results. As time allows hired applicant will conduct research and development for producing relevant technology informed from customer discovery findings.

    Bachelor's degree in a specialized field and one year research experience. Knowledge of modern research practices, the methods, resources, and standards thereof.

    The Department of Mechanical Engineering awarded 295 undergraduate, 40 MS and 15 PhD degrees in AY 2023-24. Department enrollment includes 1514 undergraduate students and 144 graduate students. Among the 33 tenure-track, tenured, research professors and professors of practice, roughly 30% are women and minorities. In recent years, department faculty have been awarded nearly 4 million dollars in externally sponsored research, of which 70% were from federal sources.
