The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) plays a critical role in delivering intelligence that enables policy development, operational planning, and strategic foresight. What if you could use your expertise in all-source intelligence to assess and anticipate the behavior and capabilities of actors in the Middle East?
As a Mid-Level All-Source Analyst at JCTM, you will conduct in-depth analysis of foreign military forces, systems, and activities within the Middle East region. Your work will directly support the Marine Corps’ Program of Analysis (POA) and address Key Intelligence Questions (KIQs) that shape defense planning and force development across the Joint Force.

Challenging Projects
You will contribute directly to MCIA’s mission through analytical support covering Middle Eastern foreign military capabilities. Your work will inform leadership and warfighters at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels while shaping force posture and capability development in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct all-source intelligence research, assessments, and production aligned with MCIA’s Program of Analysis and Key Intelligence Questions.
+ Analyze foreign military order of battle, organizational structure, force disposition, unit missions, and identify discrepancies with existing data holdings.
+ Evaluate foreign military capabilities including air defense, coastal defense, missile systems, and associated platforms.
+ Analyze foreign military operations, training, and exercises to assess TTPs, strategy, doctrine, logistics, and command and control systems.
+ Produce written assessments and deliver oral briefings that meet annual production targets and MCIA/IC standards.
+ Identify intelligence gaps, formulate collection requirements, and integrate Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) with classified sources.
+ Maintain professional relationships with intelligence community counterparts to enhance collaboration, reduce duplication, and ensure analytic rigor.
+ Deliver subject matter expertise to support the development of new processes, tools, and methodologies for intelligence production.
+ Attend and contribute to relevant intelligence conferences, working groups, and analytic exchanges.

You Have
+ Active TS/SCI clearance
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent additional experience)
+ 8+ years of experience conducting all-source analysis with a focus on foreign military capabilities
+ Expertise in Middle East geopolitical and military affairs
+ Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, finished intelligence products and deliver briefings to senior audiences
+ Proficiency in Open-Source Intelligence tools, databases, and research methods
+ Knowledge of foreign military structures, doctrine, command and control systems, and targeting capabilities
+ Experience identifying intelligence gaps and writing/processing collection requirements
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to analytical accuracy and formatting standards
Nice to Haves
+ Master’s degree in a relevant field
+ Familiarity with MCIA production processes and POA development
+ Experience analyzing denial and deception (D&D), survivability, and logistic operations
+ Background working with Joint or Marine Corps operations
+ Familiarity with analytic standards (e.g., ICD 203, 206, 208)
+ Experience contributing to or leading analytic teams across disciplines and agencies
Education/experience may substitute for degree/years of experience requirements for this position.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
