You've developed so many organization-wide software architectures that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technical challenge, but you can also anticipate future concerns. That's because you're a software architect. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the software technology supporting modernizing Navy software. Switching from Monolithic architecture to developing microservice container based systems. This project is part of a navy software factory efforts meaning it is pushing the boundaries of how we develop software, hardware, how we do cybersecurity.

    You Have:

    + 8+ years of experience with Software Architect

    + 5+ years of experience developing in Java or C++

    + 4+ years of experience developing in AWS, Azure, or GCP

    + 3+ years of experience working with distributed microservice architectures, including; Docker or Kubernetes

    + Experience with designing systems from concept to production ready

    + Experience designing DoD Secure Software Applications

    + Knowledge developing CI/CD Pipelines in Gitlab or Jenkins

    + Secret clearance

    + Bachelor's degree

    Nice If You Have:

    + Experience presenting technical concepts to audiences

    + Experience with DoD hybrid cloud environments and Anti Tamper design

    + Knowledge of of API design including gRPC, Rest and or GraphQL

    + Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture

    + Knowledge of various databases including NoSQL and SQL

    + Knowledge of using message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS or SNS

    + AWS, GCP or Azure Cloud Certifications

    Clearance:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
