Position Detail
Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 60 hours bi-weekly.

Position Summary
Stylist will consult with Residents to understand their desires and expectations for their chosen beauty treatment, including hair styling, manicures, and other beauty treatments. Ensure the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents.
+ Schedules residents for professional beauty services as requested by resident and/or responsible party
+ Provide professional beauty services to residents Such as; shampooing, hair cutting, styling, perms, wash & sets, manicures, etc.
+ Assists residents in maintaining an appropriate appearance
+ Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly appearance by maintaining salon standards and hygiene standards
+ Obtains inventory of salon and spa supplies, such as hair color, hair care, skin treatments and nail care products, etc.
+ Ensure that salon facilities are well-stocked and maintained
+ Cleaning and sterilizing beauty treatment equipment
+ Maintain licensure with the Department of State in New Yory
Essential Job Requirements
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred
License: Current New York State Cosmetology License
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Strong knowledge of beauty techniques & equipment: electronic trimmers / edger / clippers, blow-dryers, curl or straightening irons, combs, brushes, scissors, rollers, shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, bleach, chemical hair relaxer, hair coloring, styling gel/setting lotion, sheen spray, and hair pressing oil, etc
Experience: 5+ years of salon experience
