Event Planning Manager
Location : This position is based in our Campbell, California offices. This position is required to be on-site and will require 20-30% travel.

What You’ll Do
Provide a shortened version of the JD summary:
+ Plan the logistics and execution of national tradeshows and regional hospital conferences.
+ Identify and secure resources for assigned events including venue, accommodations, registration, AV & catering. Manage event budgets, negotiate/process contracts obtaining legal and finance approvals, and keep detailed tracking of spending to balance against allocated resources.
+ Own end-to-end planning and project management for each event, including timelines and detailed project plans in Asana platform.
+ Update and maintain the company’s 12-month event calendar and oversee event communications to internal and external event attendees, including the management of event landing pages, event communications, registrations, as well as post-event tracking in Salesforce.com.
+ Collect and analyze event operations results/feedback and create actionable items to implement recommendations for improving processes and outcomes.
+ Provide support for sales leadership in the preparation of regional sales meetings when support is requested from sales leadership.
+ Support Marketing Communications Leader on National Sales Meeting execution.
What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in successful management of small- and large-scale events that drive business results; or equivalent combination of education/training and work experience.
+ Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or related industry certification a plus.
+ Experience within a corporate environment, preferably medical devices or similar industry.
+ Deep passion for event management, bringing positivity, enthusiasm, and creativity to the job.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Very strong project management skills, detailed oriented, and deadline driven.

Salary Range: $113,000 – 121,000/annually
