The Opportunity:

Join CACI as a Debian System Engineer and become an integral part of our dynamic Cyber Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a Debian live boot operating system, ensuring the seamless operation of our build server that constructs Debian live boot images and portable apt repositories. Your expertise will be crucial in leveraging existing upstream and Debian resources to support our mission-critical cyber operations. Responsibilities:

+ Maintain and optimize the Debian live boot operating system and build server for mission-critical cyber operations.

+ Develop automation scripts using Bash or Python to enhance system maintenance and efficiency.

+ Collaborate with team members and communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.

+ Engage in continuous professional development through cyber events, training, and certification courses.

+ Apply cyber mission knowledge and experience to support national security objectives and department programs.

Qualifications:

_Required:_

+ Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph

+ Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or other related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work/military experience

+ **3-6 years combined years of experience** from the following bullets:o Strong proficiency with Linux systems/command lineo Demonstrated knowledge of the Debian Operating System and apt packagingo Experience with Linux distro maintenanceo Knowledge of apt rep maintenanceo Knowledge of scripting for automation (Bash or Python

+ Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills; be able to work in a high-impact, busy office and work well in an open, collaborative environment

+ Ability to interact and communicate with individual from diverse background and cultures, and to convey technical information to non-technical individuals

_Desired:_

+ Experience with server maintenance/systems administration

+ Experience with open source Linux forensics tools

+ Experience with nginx redirection

+ Experience with CI/CD automation (GitLab or Atlassian)

+ Knowledge of Linux build systems, make files, configuration for packages

+ Experience with cyber mission

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$79,400 - $162,700
