    Nespresso USA, Inc. seeks a Manager Data Engineering in New York, NY (multiple positions)

     

    Duties: Support the Insights & Analytics and Commercial Analytics Directors to develop & maintain the Nespresso US data lake by developing data products around data automation, structure, modeling, and reporting to meet the needs of the overall Nespresso US Market. This role will also function as the Data lake subject matter expert to the internal organization and HQ. This role will work with the Analytics Directors to determine how best to prioritize resources in order to maximize the value of Nespresso's data and minimize the level of effort that others in the organization have in terms of automating, organizing and reporting on Nespresso's data. In addition to leading a team of local and offshore resources, this role will lead the Nespresso US data strategy, and will be responsible for finding ways to elevate the data literacy at Nespresso US.

     

    Salary: $219440 - $220440 per year

    Requirements:

    Job requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence and Analytics or related field plus 3 years of experience working in the job offered or in data engineering and data pipeline creation. Required experience must include the following:

     

    + 3 years of experience working with Python and SQL scripting languages;

    + 3 years of experience applying methods, technologies and techniques that address data architecture, integration and governance of data;

    + 3 years of experience working with database concepts and data modelling;

    + 2 years of experience working in cloud computing;

    + 2 years of experience working with managing IaaS and SaaS systems;

    + 2 years of experience working with Big Data technologies including Big Query, Hadoop, and Spark; and

    + 2 years of experience working with data integration including design and architecture.

    4 days of telework per week permitted.
