Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our practice at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

+ Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider Board Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with Emergency Medicine experience

+ Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

+ Must be able to commit to work 288 hrs. per year

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

+ 29,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year

+ 11-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track

+ 20% admission rate

+ 24 hours of physician coverage

+ 24 hours of APP coverage

+ Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers
