    Hospitalist – Float Pool

     

    System Wide

     

    Essentia Health is seeking exceptional hospitalists to join our System-Wide Float Pool. This hospitalist will primarily travel the North Country, providing needed care “Close to Home!”

    PRACTICE SPECIFICS

    + Ideal candidates should be flexible team players, willing to address complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative environment.

    + Join a team of nearly 100+ hospitalists, including physicians and NP/PAs.

    + Enjoy great flexibility with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts, typically following a 7/7 schedule for 24 weeks per year.

    + Mileage/rental car and lodging (if desired) are reimbursed for travel from Primary Location.

    + Procedures are not required.

    + Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire Essentia system.

    + Short-term, vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia. Additional training supplied if necessary.

    + Dedicated nocturnist teams.

    + Currently undergoing a $13 million upgrade to its emergency department.

    + Located 60 minutes from Duluth.

    St. Mary’s Hospital – Detroit Lakes, MN

     

    + 36-bed, Level III Trauma Center.

    + 140-bed multi-specialty hospital with acute dialysis, medical-surgical, psychiatry, and outpatient surgery units.

    COMPENSATION

    + $400,318 - $440,751. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
