    Description

    A fast-growing athletic brand in Carlsbad is looking for a reliable and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a strong sense of accountability, and thrives in a dynamic, creative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments

    + Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices

    + Maintain accurate records of transactions and vendor files

    + Assist with month-end closing and reporting

    + Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and discrepancies

    + Support finance team with ad hoc projects and audits

    Requirements

    + 1–2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)

    + Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

    + Experience with inventory or purchasing systems is a plus
