Description

We are looking for a skilled, interim FP& A Director to join our team on a contract basis in Denver, Colorado. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial planning and analysis functions of a global manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic analysis to support business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive financial models to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.

• Lead the preparation and analysis of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Perform detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Oversee inventory analysis and annual inventory planning to optimize resources.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support electronic and global manufacturing operations.

• Utilize Oracle, HFM, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including VBA, to streamline financial processes.

• Provide insights and recommendations for small business lending initiatives.

• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial standards and practices.

• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders regarding financial planning and analysis.

• Support the implementation of best practices in financial management across departments.

Requirements • Over 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions, including formulas and VBA.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle and HFM systems for financial management.

• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and inventory analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Familiarity with electronic and global manufacturing processes.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Proven track record of managing financial operations in a dynamic business environment.
