    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a company in Sanford, Florida. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in managing and processing invoices efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in high-volume accounts payable operations and familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payment to vendors.

    • Utilize Stampli software to streamline invoice approval and payment workflows.

    • Manage purchase order workflows, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a prompt manner.

    • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration of accounts payable processes.

    • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all accounts payable activities.

    • Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes.

    • Assist in the implementation of best practices to improve accounts payable efficiency.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly within the construction sector.

     

    Requirements • Proficiency in using Stampli software for invoice processing.

     

    • Strong experience in handling high-volume accounts payable operations.

    • Solid understanding of purchase order workflows and their application in accounting.

    • Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry.

    • Hands-on experience with NetSuite accounting software.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
