Description
We are looking for an experienced Part Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Washougal, Washington. This is a six month contract position, ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a solid background in accounts receivable and billing processes. The role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining customer accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the reconciliation of financial transactions, including processing desktop deposits, handling cash deposits, and ensuring timely bank deposits.
• Handle all accounts receivable tasks, including creating and maintaining customer records, processing invoices for new accounts and lease renewals, and setting up auto-pay billing systems.
• Conduct collection activities by following up on overdue accounts, negotiating payment terms, and managing delinquent accounts.
• Prepare month-end financial reports, create journal entries, and audit counter deposits for accuracy.
• Update customer billing information, assist with auto-pay system issues, and ensure accurate payment entries into Sage Intacct.
• Manage monthly billing cycles and set up files/accounts for new customers in Sage Intacct.
• Provide personalized assistance to customers, including making calls to update payment information and resolving billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and collections.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficiency in managing billing functions, cash applications, and collections for commercial accounts.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial transactions accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle monthly billing cycles and customer accounts.
• Effective communication skills to assist customers with billing issues and payment updates.
• Ability to manage collection processes, including negotiating with overdue accounts and handling auctions.
• Experience in preparing financial reports and journal entries for month-end closings.
