    Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program

     

    Full-time: Monday-Friday 9a-5p

    The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit located in Nassau County. CEC assists adults diagnosed with mental illness in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to ASPIRE HIGHER in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments. We are currently seeking a few exceptional people who have a passion to create a meaningful impact in the lives of the amazing people we support.

     

    We have a great opportunity for a positive, motivated individual to work in a multi-disciplinary, mobile outpatient OMH program with a specialty in health and self-wellness activities and initiatives for ACT recipients.

    In this position, you will:

    + Work with recipients to develop skills that will support their recovery and attainment of their goals

    + Assist ACT medical staff with health-related activities when needed and appropriate

    + Develop interventions based on OMH's Wellness Self-Management curriculum and other wellness resources

    + Participate in on-call coverage

    + Provide mobile community-based services

    We require:

    + Bachelor's degree in Health or Human Services field, Master's degree preferred

    + Clean, valid NYS driver's license required

    + At least one year of training and/or experience in health and wellness activities for behavioral health recipients

    Hourly Salary:

    Unlicensed Bachelor's: $29.00

     

    Unlicensed Master's: $30.50

     

    Limited Permit: $31.51

     

    Licensed LMSW: $34.00

     

    Licensed LCSW or LMHC: $38.48
