Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Are you eager to join an innovative company with a dynamic culture? We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our assembly team by efficiently pulling and kitting parts. This role involves using our ERP system to accurately identify and manage part locations. You will also engage in warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and reallocating equipment. The position requires operating a forklift, performing manual labor, and handling parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you may assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks within our industrial manufacturing environment. Adaptability and teamwork are essential as we thrive in a start-up atmosphere.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct parts pulling for the manufacturing floor using the ERP system (Netsuite).

+ Perform general labor and manual lifting, carrying, and moving of parts/equipment.

+ Operate a sit-down forklift for unloading and stocking.

+ Collaborate in a team environment, assisting where needed within warehouse/logistics.

+ Potential involvement in inventory tracking and shipping & receiving duties.

Essential Skills

+ Forklift and warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ ERP experience, specifically for pulling parts.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Professional, positive, and adaptable attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

+ Netsuite experience.

+ Inventory management skills.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Excellent attention to detail, organization, analytical and reasoning skills.

+ Ability to work well in a cross-functional team and follow instructions.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm, with potential overtime or Saturday work as needed. The work setting is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse area, with some sections to be air-conditioned post-renovation. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
